If you’re looking to get out and about in and around Bonn, or are seeking to meet new people at low-key, relaxed and friendly events, this group is for you!
We follow just two simple rules: Everybody is welcome as long as one stays friendly, polite and respectful with each other. Any other behaviour such as being rude, offensive or discriminatory in any way against other members will not be tolerated within Bonn Social. Those, who decide not to follow this rule will be blocked and removed from our group.
Begun in February 2013, Bonn Social has grown rapidly and we now have hundreds of members from around the world. Our members organise regular events in and around Bonn. We aim to offer a range of different events, so there’s something for everyone, whether that’s drinks, coffee, outdoor activities, dinner, language evenings, museum visits, or nights out. Although there is a team of organizers who regularly add new events to the schedule, we encourage all members to take part in the organization by running their own activities. Members with ideas for events can add their own ideas to the schedule. Please make sure to give a fixed date and time and take full responsibility for any events you suggest. (Please read the page “suggesting events” for further information and guidelines on this.)
It’s free to join and activities are free unless otherwise stated. So, please join us, sign up to an event soon and perhaps consider adding an event of your own!
PS please make sure your RSVP is accurate as no-shows cause organisers difficulties. It is only possible to organise events well when one has a good idea of numbers. If you sign up to an event, consider it a firm commitment. If you later find you can’t go, make sure you change your RSVP; the day before should give the organisers adequate warning. Thank you.
